Review: This palette was released on June 29th.  After purchasing the HG Palette in the spring, I fell in love with the quality of Violet Voss Pro Eyeshadows.  Honestly, I had no idea who Nicol Concilio was until this palette was produced.  When I saw the shades on VV's Instagram page, it reminded me of the highly sought Natasha Denona Sunset palette which went out of stock - twice!

I waited about a month before purchasing this palette and luckily they had a free shipping promotion going on so I only paid $45 + tax.  I have never been disappointed with VV's packaging - it comes in a Violet Voss box and multiple layers of bubble wrap and shipping foam to avoid any damage during transit time.  The palette is contained in a box with a holographic design and the brand's logo along with Nicol's name on the front and a photo of her along with a few words. When you open the palette, there is a protective piece of plastic on top of the eyeshadows.  The names of the shadows are printed on the actual palette, so that is always handy.  It comes in 20 full sized pans with three different finishes: mattes, metals and satins.

Similar to the HG Palette, the eyeshadows on here are soft, creamy, easy to blend and highly pigmented.  They are also long-wearing.  The shades on this palette are beautiful - especially if you love warm tones.  There are enough selection on this palette to create various types of looks from subtle to bold.  There are a few transition shades, brow bone shades and definitely metallics and satins for the lids.  It also comes with two dark shades (Chawwcolate and Retrograde) for those who love a smokey eye.

I am very picky with my eyeshadow palettes - I do not own many.  I have more single pan eyeshadows because I like being able to pick the shades.  A lot of palettes do not have most shades that I use - when I say that, there may be 5 that I like out of the 20 shades - so that usually deters me from purchasing them.

Would I repurchase? As I said on my review of the HG Palette, I definitely will if they release anything that has shades that tickle my fancy.
